Thank you. I spent three months in your “neck of the woods” in 1989. For a Michigan boy it was like being stranded in the desert... Beautiful country but I felt like someone was standing in front of my with a blow dryer turned on high heat pointed in my face.

Welcome from Palm Springs CA. Rob!!

If you want to try a nice tobacco for your Petersons give either Penzance or Pembroke a try. Pembroke is a British aromatic and Penzance is a British Latakia,Oriental blend. Either of these two tobaccos I think you should find very appealing for a older more mature palate. Both of these tobaccos are made by the Germain Company on the Isle of Jersey . All of the Germain Tobaccos are made the old fashioned way and are not produced for the mass-market but for pipe smokers who want to smoke a fine hard to get traditional blends. They cost a bit more and are sometimes hard to find but are worth the time put into buying some. I might sound like a snob but they are all I smoke lately.

G'day Rob, great group here and some interesting tobaccos smoked amongst us. Sometimes I'm sent scrambling for Tobacco Reviews to locate a blend a member has brought to light for me, so look about and enjoy yourself
