    MacBaren Navy Flake

I just got my first tin of this blend. I would like some input on how to prepare this flake. I know it's subjective to my prefer method, but I would like to know what method has given you the best smoking experience with MacBaren Navy Flake.

I like to rub it out. For me, it benefits from being dry enough that if it were any drier, it would break instead of bending when you fold it in half.

Thanks Fr_Tom I believe that I'll rub it out then.

I almost bought a tin of this at the cob shop. I came home with a tin MacB's Virginia Flake instead. I was looking for the Burley Flake but they didn't have it. I've never tried any of them.

Fr_Tom and Jorgen by rubbing it out, I had one of most unbelievable smokes of my life. Thank you both for your input.

Uh oh, now I'm gonna have to pick up a tin next time I swing by the cob shop. I'm needing pipe cleaners soon anyway.

Yet another to add to my shopping list next time I'm over in Europe.

It certainly looks nice. Glad to hear you're enjoying it.

I typically rub it all the way, but it's a great flake for fold and stuff as well.

I rub it out, too. Glad it worked out for you, Dave.
