Sorry to hear about your horse Jim. A good horse is a tough one to lose.
Afternoon gents. Rich dark honeydew in a blatter, a favoured combo.

Good Afternoon, Friends! It's fine, cool Spring day here with a mix of clouds and bright sunshine. I have both workshop doors open and my pal Grover is in his chair close by. Not much planned except some time at the model railroad bench and hauling in groceries after my loving wife does the shopping. Oh, and a nap. Now smoking a bowl of Solani #633 in the BBB Canadian with another mugga joe on the tobacco table.

...and she was a good one, British amateur showjumping champion in her day (was now 27); the other one (on the right) who died a few years ago , aged 46. was British professional Norther Masters champion.

Enjoyed a tasty salad and chicken casserole lunch and am almost a quarter of the way through this bowl of John Cotton’s Double Pressed Kentucky in a 1982 smooth slight bend straight grain Ben Wade Martinique freehand sitter with a wide top and a black vulcanite stem. Watching Mad Dog Russo.

    Hello,

Sorry to hear about your horse, Jim. Horses certainly mean a lot to your family from what you've all told me.

The day at work felt long and busy, but was actually running pretty smoothly. Had dinner with my sister and brother in law, and now I'm smoking from the newly fed daily jar (added some SG Commonwealth and St. Bruno tonight). Of course the jar hadn't been empty when I fed it every few days recently, there was just a small number of bowls missing. But the mix is balanced finely enough to shift slightly into a new direction by adding just a bit of tobacco.

I'm now smoking from the daily jar in a Comoy Tradition bulldog.

    Best wishes
    Markus

A little known pipe fact: One can shine a pipe and feed the woodpeckers suet simultaneously.

Now smoking the last of this tin of HU Directors Cut in a 2001 smooth full bend St. Patrick's Day Peterson 03 with a silver band and black vulcanite fish tail stem. Talking with some old friends about the sudden passing of our old baseball team mate Wayne Talbert. RIP Wayne.
