Bowl #10 of cake building in the Comoy's Make will be St. Bruno. Curiosity coated the cake.

I forgot to congratulate Simon on his good fortune and to cast rose petals at Jorgen's feet.

Thankyou, Thomas. It's tough at the top!

Good Afternoon, Friends! It's cool and the rain has stopped for a while. We may not hear from Crawford today and tomorrow. I just read an article in the NY Times about the entire nations of Brazil and Uruguay being without power right now. The problem seems to be a connection between a hydroelectric dam and the grid in Brazil. The monthly tobacco order is getting put together and it looks like it'll just be my standards this time around. I'm back in the workshop and smoking a bowl of Limerick VA Flake in the Sav smooth billiard with another mugga joe on the tobacco table.

I'm currently scouting the perimeter with the dog and some of Stokkebye’s Luxury Navy Flake in a Ron Powell / RDPipes bulldog. Hoping for a less eventful patrol than last night’s adventure.

On our last outing yesterday, Mesa and I came across a copperhead by the side of the road. She followed her nose as usual and was bit on the muzzle before I ever even knew the snake was there. Luckily, it appears that the bite was only a nip and there’s a great vet here in town that was able to see her well after normal hours. Aside from a little swelling on her snoot, she’s no worse for wear today and she’s more eager than I am to hunt down the offender.

That's her "can we go get it now" stare.

I'm referencing a photograph that shows a detail that's an important part of the air brake system, the air reservoir tank, ànd is hung on the frame and is visible just beneath the caboose body. So far, I've been able to decipher how the bracket was made and have the small parts fabricated.
I love that dedication and attention to details, Russ!

I do the same thing for referencing colors, stem bend angles and such. Handy.

    Hello,

Smoking the last pipe of the day, Jim(bo)'s 2016 home brew in a Peterson Kapruf prince.

It's still nice outside and I think I'll be sitting here for another good half- hour.

    Best wishes
    Markus
