    Hello,

It's sunny and warm here, well over 20C/68F, and I'm sitting in the shed with doors wide open. Just spent a short period of time pulling some weeds in front of the extension of the house where we keep the gardening tools. Will do the rest next week and likely use the machine we have to scrape the weeds from the gaps between the pavers lying there.

I'm smoking an Orlik Virgin billiard filled with a 50/50 of SG Full Virginia Flake and G&H Balkan Flake, the latter being a sample handed out at the Pipe show in Nottingham, with the request to send feedback. In a first round, I smoked the Balkan Flake alternating with Balkan Mixture, and the second round is both tobaccos mixed with FVF. Tomorrow I'll do a third round, where both Balkan tobaccos will be included in a mix with Virginia, Kentucky, Perique, Black and Brown Twist.

I don't have much experience writing reviews, but as I've been smoking Gawith & Hoggarth tobaccos for nine years now, and buy about two pounds of them on each trip to the UK (less this time), I might have something useful to say.

    Best wishes
    Markus

Good Afternoon, Friends! It's warm, partly sunny/partly cloudy with an occasional breeze. Thomas, I'll check out that travel mug.....thanks! Back in the workshop and it looks like any rain is going to hold off until later on, so I'll get the deck umbrella installed. After that, it'll be "Do Not Disturb" time once the soccer match starts on TV. And there's baseball tonight! The New York Yankees are playing the Boston Red Sox, so we'll have a great sports day. Now smoking a bowl of Solani VA Flake in the Stanwell blasted billiard with another mugga joe on the tobacco table.

Enjoyed a couple of tasty cheese burgers, and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of D&R A.B. Rimboche in a 1938 straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell bulldog with a silver band repair and a black vulcanite saddle stem. A bottle of Cheerwine made with pure cane sugar is my drink.

    Hello,

Back in the shed after dinner with the family and watering the garden plants, which were badly in need of a refreshment. For myself, just brewing another pot of tea to finish the two bowls of FVF and Balkan something with.

Still warm tonight, and tomorrow will be outright hot here, but also in the UK from what I've read.

    Best wishes

Now smoking Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight late 50s, early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad.

Almost half way through this bowl of Lane Burley and Black in a 2003 medium bent Ural meer with a lined and etched egg shaped bowl with a brown pearl acrylic saddle stem. Ice tea and bergs is my drink. Watching the Brewers-Pirates game.
