Good Afternoon, Friends! It's very warm, hazy, and humid with bright sunshine here in our town right now. Grover was out for a while earlier, but I think that he's getting tired of the heat just like everyone else and is in the house taking a cool break. I recorded this morning's Juventus vs Tottenham match and I'll watch it later on today. Back in the workshop and currently smoking a bowl of Solani VA Flake in the Dunhill lovat with another mugga joe on the tobacco table.

Almost half way through this bowl of Wilke #44 in a smooth medium bend post-WW2 Pre-Republic Peterson Shamrock Killarney 9BC with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem. Getting ready to watch the Yankees-Rockies game.

Day has stayed awfully dull but at least it's been dry despite the forecast of rain.

Now having a bowl of Barsdorf's Virginia.

If I can pull myself together I will have a tobacco run ( Russ sometimes does a grocery run !) tomorrow for 850 grams. On my way home I can visit the cloth shop and get my new trousers. The madam forced me to go there on Friday as she was sick and tired of those I had on. But those were to long so they had to cut some off.
I started on a Peterson deuxe 03 ( medium bent apple ) today. No pleasure, I think that the airway in the stem is to small.so there is work to do.
A little month ago i got a Peterson POY 2019, John Bull shape. I started smoking the day after I got it. The bite was to high, so over days I used file, sandpaper and then on the machine. At least 14 times, a little at a time. Now it seems to work.
In fact, always a pleasure with pipes in the end.

Enjoyed a tasty spaghetti and meatballs lunch, and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of Mac Baren Amphora Kentucky Blend in a smooth quarter bend straight grain dark brown 2001 Karl Erik Ekstravagant with a wide bowl that recedes to a point at the bottom, with a wood inset as a ferrule and a black acrylic stem.
