About a minute or two away from smoking Jim's Va/Bur in a 2015 Basil Meadows Bing Crosby Merchant Service replica with a smooth straight thin shank, aluminum band and black ebonite stem.

Not far from finishing this bowl of Edgeworth Ready Rubbed Match in a medium bend 2002 MM Legend cob with a yellow stem. Then, sleep time... I hope.

    Hello,

I arrived safely in Whitley Bay yesterday, and today I am spending all day by the sea.

Just finished a bowl of a new mix in a Falcon:
    One part St Bruno
    One part G&H Black Cavendish
    One part G&H Balkan Mixture
Three parts SG Full Virginia Flake

It's sunny and warm by the local standards, possibly around 20C/68F.

I haven't caught up on the recent posts and may not do so for a while. But will drop in occasionally.

The photo is of St. Mary's Lighthouse in Whitley Bay.

    Best wishes
    Markus

The Three Friars have warned me about graven images. I fear Old Joe's fly rods, shot glasses and pipes should not be idolized.

    Enjoy your holiday Markus.

Last night I dreamt I was on holiday in Britain smoking my pipe when I suddenly realised I could buy and smoke all the Condor I wanted!! Cooler here today but still not bad. Having a bowl of Amphora Virginia/Coniston Cut mix.

Good Morning, Gentlemen! It's 69°F/20.5°C, cloudy, and everything is wet from overnight rain with more to come today. Now smoking a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in a Sav "Venere 128" with a fresh mug of coffee on the tobacco table.
