    Comoy's Extraordinaire 100

This pipe came back to me two days ago. I didn't even realize the package was from Anthony until late yesterday afternoon! A Comoy's post-war shape 100. Not as large as the 804, see,

    http://pipesmokerunlimited.com/showt...extraordinaire

Dimensions are Length 6", height 2 1/8", it is listed in the Comoy's shape list as "Billiard 1/2 bend XL", so I would guess Dunhill 120 in size. Note the arched Comoy's Extraordinaire mark (the same as seen on pre-war pipes), and the COM mark. I think the Extraordinaire mark was all one stamp, and Comoy's continued to use it for some time after the war. Restoration (and pictures) by Anthony Cook, Cook's Fine Pipe Works.

I was pipe bombed! One of two! I have to get my thoughts together before I post the second one.

Holy Crap!! I thought at first the pic of the finished pipe at the end was a "Manufacturer's proof" type pic of a pipe straight from the finishers...Holy Cow that turned out Good!!
    Take care and check six!

Don't see many Comoy's from your stable Dave, a beautiful one indeed.
    St. Bruno simply satisfies!
