Finish the drying bowl of Kendal Cream in a Bjarne Acorn.
I can resist anything but temptation.

Heavy rain all day and wind gusting out of the East at 14 mph, should keep the little tykes from ringing the bell and stealing my candy. Amphora Virginia in a Peterson and coffee.

Good for him and your daughter Jim..you and the missus must be very proud. We only have dogs one of which is Tigra. She sat with me in the sun while we watched the missus working. Been only smoking the Barsdorf's Virginia/Coniston mix today now in the Wimbledon. Currently waiting for dinner to be cooked.

A third of the way through this bowl of D&R Rowland Platinum in a 1978 smooth dark brown Danish Special medium bend tapered egg with a black vulcanite tapered stem. This will get me to dinner time.

Enjoyed a wonderful salad, chicken legs and asparagus dinner and am a quarter of the way through this bowl of year 1999 Edgeworth Ready Rubbed in a medium bend dark brown 2017 Don Warren 17 smooth straight grain rough top Dublin with a multi-brown cumberland stem and ferrule in the military mount style.

Going to take one of my occasional forum breaks to take care of some business. Have a nice weekend, folks.

Watching football and eyeing a full bowl of candy , not one "yard ape" came to plunder. Wind blowing over 20 mph. Jocks in a Mauro Armellini and coffee.

    Hello,

This morning I'm on standby for any little thing that may have to be done to help with the decoration of my mother's flat and the wider consequences. I gave the stairs in the corridor a quick wipe rather than a thorough cleaning, as more dust is yet to come. So I have just made room for it. Then I took my mother's winter tyres off their hooks so that my brother in law can fix them to my mother's car later today.

A layer of clouds has moved in overnight, and there may be light rain from noon till tomorrow morning. We won't cross the 10C/50F mark today, but will go well above that tomorrow.

Today the last three bowl's worth of the Sam's Flake went into the daily jar along with a helping from the solera jar. The latter in turn was filled up with Old London Pebble Cut, a small crumbled cigar and a little Peter Heinrichs Chateau Henri No 51, the now extinct Latakia blend.

The daily jar sees a change of flavours with each refill, but it's not so strong a change that the mix goes from enjoyable to unsmokable. It is, however, usually a little rough around the edges right after the refill has been done, and it takes a day or two for things to settle down and fall into place.

    Best wishes
    Markus
