150th Fifth Avenue Diplomat Corn Cob Pipe

Saw these at the 150th anniversary celebration a few weeks ago but didn't get one. Looks like MM has them on the website ($12.95) now if anyone is interested.

The Legend is a good one, has the hardwood plug in the bottom, but there's even cheaper ones. I love my cobs, hardly ever smoke anything else, love the wide open draw. Then again I'm a cheap bastard when it comes to pipes. I figure the less I spend on pipes the more I have for tobacco, and I'll splurge there.

No, the legend doesn't have the hardwood plug you dummy. But it is cheaper and quite popular.

That said, best cob is the Cobbler, IMHO of course.

Whatever you do or don't do, get a genuine MM cob and not some cheap Chinese knockoff.
