    PipeDan Chimney

Another of the PipeDan pipes I bought last weekend. Date mark is hard to read...where's my loupe! Going by the other pipes, it's early 1960's.

That is a pipe I first saw years ago from someone at PSF, and it's a beauty, Dave! Congratulations on that thing! I'm going to have to start looking on ebay again.

Love it! With that 'Conic Chamber' quite a rare one, I'm guessing? When you find which tobacco suits it best (finely cube cut plugs for me) you'll be able to 'savour the flavour' for hours & hours!

Not a shape I would ever buy to be honest. However as long as you're happy Dave then that's all that matters!!

It's actually what I would call a period classic. If there were ever a Modern Danish Pipe Museum, this pipe would be on display. There actually were some taller chimney shapes made by PipeDan. See pp 34-37,

Those pipes were on display in the window towards Vestergade. Around the corner they had English pipes on display.
I think I cryed every time one of these shops closed: Wilh. Jørgensen, Poul Olsen, Dan, Remo, WØ
