    Krisswill Danish Clipper 582 lovat

    https://www.blueroombriars.com/produ...-estate-pipe-1

I had been calling this pipe a "brandy" since buying it from Blue Room Briars at the 2021 NASPC show in Columbus, OH but found the link to the pipe directly on their site to the very pipe and they've called it a lovat. I love the lovat shape but the bowl is so conical I didn't think it fit. Love the pipe, it's been a great smoker so far the first few bowls. I thought the pipe was an unsmoked estate pipe when I bought it and even when I smoked the first bowl so Blue Room Briars are officially the cleanest estate pipe I've ever bought. Will be looking to buy more from them at much fairer prices than the usual places.

Hey, Zach...I believe the term "Lovat" refers to the longer length of the shank in relationship to the shorter length of the stem and, in the case of a Lovat, always a saddle bit. Just a thought.

It certainly is a very fine pipe...Congrats! I always look at Blue Room Briars website and they have a BBB Ultonia that I've had my eye on.

The stem is not quite saddlebit enough for me though, itís fairly rounded and slippery.

EDIT: Someone else pointed out the slightly canted billiard bowl is a Danish styling take done often and that makes sense. Where it doesn't slope quite far enough to be a brandy.
