    Celius Queen 15

OK, I broke down and bought another pipe. A Queen grade Celius. May have some stem issues, but nothing I can't fix. Price was...$45...$45?!?, a very good deal. The other Celius pipes I have are very good smokers.

That is a good price, Dave, and it looks to be in pretty good shape, too.

Ditto what Coalsmoke said. I don't know anything Celius pipes, but I like that one.

Pipe arrived today, it's definitely a winner! It's just going to need a routine clean up.

Congrats, Dave! I'm sure that you'll have it looking great soon. Post some pics when you're done.

Having some fun cleaning this pipe this morning, getting a little creative with my methodology of cleaning the plateaux rim.

Before and after this mornings clean up. A qustion for down the road is if I attempt some color correction on the upper part of the briar. It wasn't caused by anything I did, just the nature of this piece of briar.

I’m really starting to like the look of this restoration, looks like a lovely pipe Dave. Do you think the bowl may not accept stain readily or is something else in play here?

Gave this pipe a test smoke today, and dare I say it, it was...perfect!
