Found this article tonight about tobacco growing on a farm here in Tasmania in the 1930’s and thought I’d share. Amazing how much was produced back in those days when one considers the global production and consumption to support the market. I’m guessing this volume in the article would be small fry compared to what the large growing areas would have produced.
