    Lucky sod Ally.
I can only get the likes of those in Buenos Aires and they cost silly money. I make do with VAT 69 from the supermarket which costs less than a fiver a bottle and isn't that bad. Which reminds me I need to buy some now autumn has arrived.

    Cheers and enjoy Ally.

Just finished off another bottle of Sainsburys Vintage Cider which is currently the drink of choice around here. It is actually made by Westons Cider and gets good reviews, a medium sweet 7.2% perfect for hot summer evenings and at 2 for 75cl good value. It's pretty much the same cider as Westons own label Vintage cider but they only come in 500ml bottles.
    Regards,

    Nigel

Good choice Nigel. Cider from the shire! Old Rosie from Weston's is pretty good too.

Old Rosie is my son in laws favourite, buys it direct from Westons, the 20l bag in a box version. He visited the Westons Visitor Centre recently he's that taken with it.

Smoking a pretty good hausegemacht blend, slowroll mystery Balkan. Latakia, Dark Fired Kentucky, and McC 2050. Mystery, because I have no idea what's the secret sauce in 2050, but it reminds me of the floral, herby, spicy note that old Balkan Sobranie had.
