I put in my monthly tobacco order and by Friday I should get a box filled with...

    ...150g GLP Fillmore
    ...200g Solani #633
    ...100g Amphora VA Flake
    ...150g HH Pure VA Flake

That should keep me smoking for another month.

Managed to pick up a tin of Dunhill Royal Yacht from a tobacconist in Sorrento whilst on holiday. Never had it before and I know it can be a love/hate thing but I figured what the heck it's now out of production so I might never get another chance to try it.
    Regards,

    Nigel

Well you're lucky to have someone not too far away to trade it if you hate it (But you won't). I love it!

Given your tastes in tobacco I guess I will like it too, if not I now know where to send it.

I never really understood why that one was such a polarizing blend, think itís a pretty straight forward, pretty decent nicotine with a faint top dressing. I enjoy it and have a few tins left in the cellar but just never got the love/hate responses from it.

Yesterday I went into town and brought tobacco. Today I got a packet from Simon. St Bruno I have not smoked that for years. And also a book " Early advertising art from the Imperial Tobacco Co ". A very fine book !
    Thank you Simon!

Walked down to the cob shop today for pipe cleaners. They were having a Christmas in July sale and as I've been wanting an Emerald so I grabbed one of those for $20. The Emerald is their rebranded St. Patty's Day pipe but now comes in the bent Cobbler style I love. As always I browse the tobacco selection and found they had a little supply of Dunhill blends. Not sure where they got them but they weren't there last month so I picked up two tins of DDF. They had three, but at $20 a tin I was stretching the budget as is so I left one behind. I didn't need any tobacco but WTH.

    You're more than welcome, jorgen!
The Bruno won't be as good as you remember, although it's still the one to beat. For me it is, at least. Hope you enjoy it.
    St. Bruno simply satisfies!
