    and also,

8 oz Cornell & Diehl Bright Virginia Ribbon
16 oz Grand Croupier Double Down

Very nice. I saw that sale, too. Decided to 'take a chance' & order some doblone d'oro. I tried it a couple of years ago, but can't remember what it was like. I think I either loved it or hated it. Ordered it Monday, last week. Just checked the tracking & it's in a place called Miami. Also put another in with estervals, in Germany the same day. That arrived Wednesday. St. Bruno, Directors Cut & a brebbia pipe, to replace the one I broke last year. They always include a free sample & a bag of sweets. This time however they threw in a tin of larsens craftsman & a bag of pipe cleaners, called 'BLITZ'. Lol

    St. Bruno simply satisfies!

I sent in my monthly tobacco order and, by Friday, I should receive a box containing...

    ...150g Former's Straight Grain Flake
    ...100g Dan Limerick VA Flake
    ...150g HH Pure VA Flake
...and 200g Wessex Brown VA Flake (50g for the cellar)

All are favorites of mine and in one box from the same retailer, too.

It was on sale don't you know, so I actually saved money, by spending money... That was one of my Granfather's lines, my Grandmother never bought it!

763 is a good tobacco, the first time I smoked it, on the char light I got the aroma of roasting chestnuts, like the aroma from vendor's carts around Christmas in NYC. A strong childhood memory.

Oh, do I remember that aroma too, Dave! People may remember the sights of NYC, but you have had to really have been there to remember the aromas.

From GQ today Homebrew components of St. Bruno, Condor, Ye Olde Signe, to be mixed with the small addition of Latakia mixture remnants, Brown Irish, and Perique.

Also, Dunhill MM221b Baker Street, Charatan Royal Escape and Victorian Mixtures for a first tasting of the Charatan "clones".
