I need to add more vintage British pipes to the collection over the next couple of years. So far, I have one (1), the BBB "Own Make Virgin" Canadian and what a fine pipe it is!I'll be looking for all pre-merger pipes from Orlik, Comoy, GBD, and BBB, the best that I can get, at a price that I can afford.

My favorite shape is easily the pot.
I seem to have a preference for the threaded-tenon Grabows and GBD's. Charatan makes a very nice pot. I have one Dunhill pot and a couple of Barlings.
In terms of a artisan pipe maker, I am smoking a BST pot as I type this, and that is what I will recommend.

Old thread, I know, but Carsten Andersen has some very nice vintage Dunhills that have been beautifully restored for very reasonable prices. You can find Carsten on both Facebook and Instagram.

One way for me !! Preben Holm Private Collection Series. Any Grade but the D or 808 are to die for!!!!

Probably has to be Barling, for me.
But I wouldn't kick a Loewe, a Comoy's, an Orlik, a Charatan, a Dunhill or an early Stanwell out of bed for farting!
