    It's not that big really; fits into some tight spaces like bowl/shank junctions pretty well. I've gotten out if the habit but I used to final buff everything with it it does so well IMHO.

    Great post, Steve, a perfect sticky if ever there was one. I'm starting to plan my own little pipe maintenance / restoration station in the garage (now that I have a garage). Harbor Freight (no affiliation) has this great looking little buffer that they sell for pocket lint. I hope to be bolting one to my workbench in the not-too-distant future.

    I agree! This buffer is great! One caution, however: the rpm range may be a little high for some applications. It might be a good idea to pick up a speed regulator at the same time you get your buffer.
