    Interesting. Seems I remember reading a issue of P&T magazine with Faulkner on the cover. Can't remember date on that issue, but I have it here somewhere.

    The story mentioned he was also fond of Balkan Sobranie white.

    Aye he was an SS guard was Jack, cleverly escaped at the end of the war. I seem to think he pretended to be deaf and dumb for years as he didn't want to give his German accent away.
