    Filter replacement things

I believe there are metal (?) things available to replace the 9MM (and probably other sizes) filters. Anyone know where I can source a couple? Of the two B&Ms in Vancouver one doesn't seem to know they exist and the other keeps saying he's ordered some but they're not here yet. <sigh>

    Stingers or condensers you mean?

You should be able to source them from the main internet guys I would have thought or any B&M that supplies 9mm filter pipes (mostly European I would have thought)

The only ones I've dealt with were for Savinelli pipes.
And honestly, with the Savs at least, the pipes smoke just fine with out the adapters.

What pipes specifically are you dealing with?
Snus, Snuff and Briar, what more can a soul require?

No, these are to fill the gap when you don't use a filter.

What gap Dallas, that created by simply leaving out the filter?

Like I said, I smoke my filtered Savs w/o filters or the adapter.
The adapters are nothing more than a hard plastic tube that fits into the stem, long enough to extend partially into the shaft. Does no more than to narrow the airway a bit.

Yes, I'm finding the pipe draws TOO easily with nothing there! The Brighams with their wood filter are fine - can't pass a cleaner, but I can live with that.

Dallas I think Smokingpipes.com sells the plastic Savinelli filter replacements. You can email them and ask.
Ibelievee they call them plastic inserts.
