Ok, the official update. Using a loupe, the markings I can make out on this pipe are the arched BARLING'S, maybe just the faint top of the E in MAKE, YE OLDE WOOD, and the shape number 410. Pipe is EXEL in size, although not marked as such, also no FOSSIL, which I didn't expect to see giving how small the area for the markings. Pipe is in excellent condition, with no bite marks, and relatively light oxidation on the original stem. The only thing I can make out on the stem, is a faint B of one of the BARLING marks. Pipe sits flat on my desk, and it will clean up great.

The other thing about this pipe is it's very light weight, 35g.

Found this one today also! I'm going to give it the full clean up treatment. The major issue with this pipe back in 2014 was that it was used as a pot pipe at one time, and I mean cannabis. Talk about a VERY STUBBORN ghost! Otherwise, it was a good smoker.

What Simon said. It needs your attention, but what a pipe it'll be once it has it!!

Good luck, Dave. Those resins impregnate the wood. Maybe it's time to try some of those floral Lakelands. Last ghost standing wins.
