Another Fuente Cubanito while out in the garden prepping. Got some new garden tools, primarily needed a really heavy duty shovel and hoe, and got a few, along with a new rake, garden hose, some sprinkler heads, and stakes.

Taking this into the garden. I have been seeking a very strong, bold cigar....apparently this fits that bill. We shall see!

    On every level, a disappointment:

The draw was not as tight as I was expecting - always a warning sign

It only gave me 50 mins - I would expect much more from an expensive cigar

It burned very unevenly - applying the flame on one side and spit down the other is intolerable

It was not particularly full in taste nor nic-strong. Partagas has it beat in both departments

Hopes are now pinned on the Camacho Triple Maduro, which I will tackle tomorrow, weather permitting.

I've been enjoying an hour in the early evening sun with this Camacho Triple Maduro.

Advertised as strong and full in flavour, I didn't find it nic-strong but it was certainly flavourful. There was an added element of what I thought at first resembled dark chocolate, but later revised it to cocoa - all in all an excellent medium-sized cigar. I am starting to admire the House of Camacho - very much a new brand for me.

    From where, Chris?

I've never found a cigar I like other than Cuban (but i'm many years out of date).

Dominican and bought from My Smoking Shop (they have a bigger range than GQ) - I've tried three different varieties and enjoyed every one.

EDIT - Sorry, they are Dominican!!
