    Tips for Uploading Pictures

    Posting pictures:

Since I've seen this question asked several times, I think it would be wise to post the answer :) !

There are 2 ways that you can post images to the forum. One is directly uploading the file from your PC, this will create a "thumbnail" in your post that users can click on and enlarge bit.

Second method is a URL from a website.

When you click on the "Insert Image" icon:

After you click on the icon, the below box will open, select "From URL", cut and paste your image URL (note there is a max of four images per post), and uncheck the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" check box. Be warned, if you have a large image, it will show up in the post large as well. :)

Right, anytime you're using a photo service website, flickr, photobucket, picasa, et. al. it's posting from a url. Some photoservices have a link that can be copied for use in forums that will eliminate the need for using the insert image button. :)

Or one can also cut and paste a link to an image and manually type the below code with the brackets (the one with the / goes at the end of the link
    [img][/img]
