Easy clean up is to douse everything with strong rum and let it soak for awhile. Wipe it clean and smoke it. Don't drink the rum.

All my Falcon pipes are fitted with the larger Istanbul bowl, 3 in smooth, 3 in rustic. The Istanbul is rather like an over-grown Genoa. I also have a couple of hyperbowls. Falcon make even larger bowls, the Short Chimney and the Tall Chimney. I haven't yet got these but am tempted to try them.

@tulsagentlemen is right that over-proof white rum does a fantastic job of cleaning a Falcon and leaves the pipe tasting very nice too, unlike Falcon's own cleaning spray.

Although the regular sized Falcon bowl suits my smoking style perfectly (Dublin bowl more often than not) I can understand why some folk may find it too small.
