A bowl of the Rockbass-aged MM 965 in the General cobwarden. Later I'll take Father Dempsey for a ride to the supermarket.

After all of the statistics and reports are finished with, I've come to the conclusion that the only real danger of smoking a pipe is being interrupted.

Now smoking some Rockbass-aged Haunted Bookshop in the General cobwarden. It's delicious and just right in a cob!

My first bowl of Half and Half ever.
Really good stuff. No bite or chemical aftertaste like other OTC tobacco.

Smoking a bowl of Father Dempsey in the General cobwarden. Just the smoke while reading the latest archaeology news.

I just lit up a bowl of Father Dempsey in the General cobwarden while deeply reading. I find the good Father helps with my concentration on the printed word.

Smoking me General cobwarden with a bowl of the last of the Rockbass-aged MM965, the bulk of which is now in the cellar. Getting ready to throw a couple of steaks on the grill, a great way to end such a nice day. Cobbin' and grillin'!

Good evening, folks! I had a nice dinner of fried chicken, mashed potatoes and corn, and I'm now enjoying a post-prandial bowl of Smokers' Haven Cognac Mixture in a Neerup. A pot of coffee and the Kindle accompany.

I'm reading The Paris Directive by Gerald Jay, a murder mystery / thriller. The big mystery is: what happened to Gerald Jay (admittedly a nom de plum) and why hasn't he dropped another novel since this 2012 debut? It's quite good, and his detective, Paul Mazarelle, is an aging, pipe-smoking Parisian police officer who transfered to a small village late in his career. What's not to love?
