Right now its my main pipe. With all of the opinions here the only way you are going to know is to try one yourself.

I like them, easy to clean, smoke well and cheap.

I have one that I have only smoked 3 times. It's not that bad. I am interested in getting a meershaum lined bowl for it.

Somewhere in the meer section, there was a thread about meer bowls for Falcon pipes... I'll see if I can find it.
    With kind regards, Bo

I have three stems and two bowls (I need to rectify that situation) that I traded for from a friend in Oz. Let me tell you, he used them like workhorses; they were caked and gunked all up. But they cleaned up really well and I absolutely love them.

One is a bent that has a wee-dent in the tube and gurgles a tad. One of our members here suggested I buy/make the dry ring to see it it helped. So, I made one and BAM- no more gurgling.

As for maintenance, I think they are almost no-maintenance: unscrew the bowl, dump it, with it and the humidome off/out, one pipe cleaner and finished! And I think they look kinda cool! :)

I know it's bias, particularly as I've not had the pleasure of smoking one, but I have a very hard time warming up to Falcons. In principle the same as a Kirsten, which if not for the problems with draw, I would smoke the one I own. So what gives?
