Do, you remember this lot, Ally - "The Specials"?? For those who weren't around in the late 70's (or can't remember them!! LOL) they were a reconstructed ska band and renowned political activists.
This song was inspired by the serious unemployment problems in the UK at the time.
It also reminds me of a small place near Leadville CO - eerie place, eerie song.
The video is blocked to me on "copyright grounds" ???

Bill, it was a very famous song! But I did say there might be some who would be unable to remember it!!
