Holy cow, that's incredible! Is there a pipe bowl in there somewhere?

stunning...
The scene depicted, as inscribed on the pipe, is the marriage of HRH Princess Louise, sixth child and fourth daughter of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, and John, Marquess of Lorne, which took place on 21 March 1871. The ceremony was conducted at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. For more see,

To the left of the bride, Queen Victoria, and her brothers Edward, the Prince of Wales, and Alfred, the Duke of Edinburgh. Where exactly did you find this image Bill?
I found it here along with some other additional amazingly carved meerschaum pipe carvings. "The Great White Goddess" http://thenonist.com/index.php/theno...erschaum_pipe/
I find it funny that you know the scene on the pipe while after finding the image of the pipe I searched for a long time and couldn't discover what the scene was depicting.
"""Meerschaum pipe, 18" l., attributed to Joseph Krammer, Vienna, ca. 1871. The motif depicts the wedding of Princess Louise to the Marquess of Lorne, at Windsor St. George chapel, March 21, 1871, inscribed at base."""

Know the scene? Not of the top of my head! I could read the inscription and did a little searching...
Words elude me. I would smoke it in bed, so if I dropped it, it would only incinerate me and color the pipe.
