    [B]meershaums with bright yellow stems tend to be on the lower end of price[B]

    Nonsense .....it has to do with the mortise and tenon application of the stem. Although meers do have narrow draws.

    The seller contacted me with sizes its 6 and a half inches long 2 and a half inch high bowl outside height and 2 and a quarter inches wide it comes with the "original" box and case so as soon as I get it ill post some pictures and see if the tongue trick works hopefully that's a real tests lol

    I've seen a lot of meerschaum seller scams over the years, usually direct from dodgy Turkish sites or souvenir vendors; tiny pipes, rubbish block, horrible carving, stems with virtually no airway, wobbly screw tenons. By those standards, I think you've probably got a better pipe and a fair deal.

    As Meers originally were made with amber stems, a lot of later pipes have faux amber yellow or orange acrylic stems and it isn't a sign of low quality - many pipes costing $$$ have them.

    I think/hope you'll find it OK.
