Nice knife! I have been eying, for a while now, Rogers & Sons pipe tools with the various wood and horn inlays.

That is a seriously beautiful tool. I assume the blade is on the dull side as pipe knives usually are?

I know this post is older but I like reading through the older posts in the forum when everyone is in dream land.

Just would like to say this is a very well built tamper. I always see posts of such incredible tampers that people make and I still use an old czeck tool

Even an old Czek tool will get the job done and there's a lot of members here that use them. I have a twelve dollar tool with a scraping blade and a pic, so that's all I need. And my tamper was free. I use the pointing finger on my right hand.

After all of the statistics and reports are finished with, I've come to the conclusion that the only real danger of smoking a pipe is being interrupted.
