    Not so good Russ.

There's a hell of a lot of pizza places in our town considering its small size....they come and go as often the seasons. I'm not a great lover of them but my wife is. After several disappointing experiences we now stick to the one place which do thin crust ones. They're consistently good and cost around $5 depending on the number of toppings you choose.

Hey, Crawford...I was raised on real Italian pizza when I lived in New Jersey and, when I lived in Connecticut, there were places nationally acclaimed for its pizza. The kind where home-made dough is tossed in the air to stretch out with a crispy, thin crust with fresh mozzarella cheese floating on home-made sauce and olive oil that's right out of the oven and so hot you'll burn your mouth if you don't let it cool off. That kind of pizza. What we bought is something attempting to be a "cuisine" pizza, the kind that you'll find on the West Coast of the States. Instead of being "traditional" pizza (whatever that means) or even an honest interpretation of "traditional" pizza, it simply fell flat and is best appreciated when gone.

    Indeed Russ.
The place we usually go now makes the thin crust base in front of you Italian style. I like them simple, bit of sauce, mozzarella, tomato and onion. And even then I don't eat much.

I'm having the steak dinner that was the first post in this thread. I would normally eat this on a Friday, but tomorrow's Christmas "lunch" may go on 'til 10pm!!

I mention it here because at the post-RIP socials my younger colleagues have been mocking me over the Oxo Cube dry marinade. I say don't mock it 'til you've tried it, but still they laugh.

This tip was from three-Michelin-star chef Marco Pierre White. They wouldn't laugh at him........Oh no!!
