    Remembered to take the fish out the freezer so it has now been tidied up and given a dunk in egg then breadcrumb. Not sure whether to have it with chips or buttery mash...maybe even some peas as well. The peas you get here come in cartons and are very good....much better than the British equivalent.

    I know Ally...but I'm supposed to be under this no salt order from the Doc and the missus is keeping her eagle eye on me. It's easier to spill some salt on the mash than the chips!!

    Quite frankly, I think the doctor is going way over the top as my blood pressure is below normal for my age. Most unsalted food lacks in taste, especially tatties I find.
