I think this looks really interesting. None of your powdered shite - it looks like the whole spices, curry leaves, lime leaves etc.

Let us know how you get on with it - would also go with pork (I believe they eat quite a lot of pork in that part of India?)
It was nice, the instructions never told me to put any water in it, it would have been far too claggy if I hadn't, so I added a couple of tablespoons just to loosen it up a bit, the inclusion of a whole dried out red chilli, 4" long in this case added the heat to the dish, the bad idea was to take a bite of it, it turned this into a really hot madras, don't think I would buy it again as I can do better from scratch but it was a quick meal, It took about the same time to make this as it takes to prepare a pot noodle but I'd rather have this curry.

Not sure Chris, Sonia bought this at Aldi a couple of months ago, good to keep in the cupboard as a stand by though as it had a shelf life of around six months.

Earlier the MIL made a meat and potato pie, she brought one down for both of us so time to get out the Henderson's Yorkshire Relish, love this and underneath the short pastry crust the thick soft bit just sups the Relish up.

Can't go wrong with a stew Ally. Mine tends to be more basic as the wife doesn't like mushrooms and I don't like garlic in a stew. Usually just beef, carrot and onion with plenty of gravy to dunk the bread in.
